Why We Do What We Do.
The Nxt Gen Institute was founded in 2004 by Dr. Bob DuVall in Atlanta, GA. Operating under the name "Sports Medicine of Atlanta", the institute achieved credentialing as a clinical fellowship provider by the APTA on December 31, 2004. In October 2005, the organization was recognized by the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapists as the 10th orthopedic manual therapy fellowship in the United States.
In 2013, Dr. DuVall brought on Dr. Joseph Brence and Dr. Francois Prizinski as vested partners in an effort to expand the organization. At this time, they re-branded under the name the Nxt Gen Institute of Physical Therapy. Collectively, they saw the institute as a means to move the Physical Therapy profession forward through attainable educational opportunities. Dr. Drew Ball was brought on as a vested partner in 2018.
Today, the Nxt Gen Institute blends the best-available evidence with relevant clinical experiences from its expert faculty. This results in the highest-quality, transformative, post-professional experience that is accessible anytime, anywhere by anyone.
